1. Around ten minutes into the podcast, the people speaking start to talk about survival of the fittest and bring bacteria and other microscopic organisms. What instances would cause such microscopic organisms to engage in the survival of the fittest, and how would they evolve to withstand such instances? What does this mean if bacterias and viruses evolve to be more dangerous?
2. A little less than halfway through the podcast, Carnagie heroes are being interviewed about how they saved the lives of others. Does a person’s perception of life, such as being a pessimist or optimist, significantly affect whether or not a person would act in a situation where someone else would be at risk of losing their life?
3. Towards 46 minutes, the podcasters discuss defending someone in a court of law. What would your thought process be if you had to choose whether or not a person is guilty? Would their clothes matter? Gut instinct? No information is provided besides their presence.

1. The podcast mentions something about cheetahs and antelopes. It asks, “what if there was a nice cheetah and asks the antelope to eat a sandwich with them.” With that in mind, do you think prey and predators can ever coexist? If they can, do you think the world would be a more peaceful place?
2. “When you do see generosity, how do you know it’s really generous?” Do you think people do good deeds for their image towards other people or is it an actual act of kindness and/or generosity?
3. In the podcast, a man saves people while others stop and watch. Why do people just stop and watch accidents? Do you think it’s just a shock to people or do you think they genuinely don’t care?
